No appointments are required, all of our services are walk-in services only.
For all services, clients are required to provide two original valid physical pieces of identification. One piece must be government-issued and include both a photo and signature. The second piece must clearly display your full name. We are happy to accept a photocopy, but we are still required to view the original documents.
If you have received any documentation related to obtaining a Criminal Record Check, please print it and bring it with you at the time of your visit.
For additional information, please refer to the Requirements link located on the home page.
Due to our walk-in-only service model, we are unable to estimate exact wait times, as they depend on the number of clients being served ahead of you. Most services are completed within 5–15 minutes.
Processing times vary based on the service provided.
Most regular name-based criminal record checks are completed within 1 business day and are available for in-person pickup by the applicant.
Fingerprinting services have varying processing times, with an average turnaround of approximately 2 weeks. Please note that results mailed directly to applicants are sent through Canada Post and may experience delivery delays.
As processing times differ depending on the type of fingerprint application submitted, please contact us directly for more specific information.
Criminal background checks are commonly known as different “levels,” with each level providing a different type of screening depending on your application needs.
Most employment-related requests only require a Name-Based Criminal Record Check (CRC).
Fingerprint-based certified checks are often required for immigration applications (for certain countries), pardons/record suspensions, citizenship, select employment, foreign travel or when a name-based search is unable to confirm identity.
If you are uncertain which service you need, please contact us and we will gladly help guide you.
